The observant reader will see that the title of this blog is in English. From now on, I will try to write my blogs both in Dutch and English, which feels like a big challenge. My English is so-so but I would like to improve it. So if you see any serious faults in spelling or writing, please let me know by e-mailing me :-)
In the last 'blik vooruit' (sorry, not in English) I already showed a large colorful ball of acryl and 2 balls 'Scheepjeswol Pittsburgh.' The large colorful ball was made of leftover pieces of acryl, and with these balls I planned to crochet a scarf. It took a while, due to the warm weather (something with preparing for the upcoming winter during the summer before..?), but it's finished now!
The pattern I used is actually very simple and uses only double crochet in different collors and star stitch in anthracite wool. I learned the start stitch throug this blog, and really like the effect. I needed a total of three balls of 'Scheepjeswol Pittsburg' to be able to make the scarf as long and wide as I wanted.
The scarf turned out really nice and warm, and I think it will be used a lot next winter. See you later!
